Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

Academic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate degree programme recognized by the World Higher Education Database (WHED)
• Fields of study should relate to FAO's mandate, including agriculture, nutrition, food security, environment, economics, and related disciplines

Age and Nationality

• Aged 21–30 years at the time of application
• National of an FAO member country

Language Requirements

• Working knowledge of at least one FAO language (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, Spanish)
• Knowledge of a second FAO language is an advantage

Additional Requirements

• Ability to adapt to international multicultural environments
• Strong communication skills

Programme Objectives

The internship is designed to:

Financial Support

FAO provides a monthly stipend for interns who are not sponsored by a university or other entity.
